Tommy Jechoux is a French speed skier in the premier S1 class.
Tommy comes from the French Riviera, in the beautiful town Grasse. He grew up as an alpine racer, competing in Slalom and Giant Slalom.
His father Dominick Jechoux is a Speed Skier. When Tommy was 11 he was introduced to the race track in les Arcs. His first speed was 110 km/h. Loving the adrenaline, the path was set.
In 2008 Tommy started racing in the SDHJ junior class where he raced until the 2011 season. In the World Championships 2011 he switched to the S1 junior class. He won the junior Speed Masters twice, in 2011 and in 2013. His top speed was 187,38 km/h.
Tommy changed to the full S1 class for the 2014 season. In 2015 he set his current personal record 205.950 km/h at the Speed Masters in Vars.
Tommy lives in the French Alps. In the summers he practice cycling, in the winter slalom and gs. In addition he's a serious crossfit athlete all year around.
