Tawny Wagstaff is a Speed 1 racer from New Zealand.
Tawny was born in Methven in New Zealand, but he sure grew up on Mt Hutt. Climbing and skiing has always been his passions. He is a certified ski instructor and personal trainer and has been working as a Heli ski guide both in New Zealand and in the famous powder paradise Hokkaido in Japan. Currently he's back to stonemasonry to support his racing carreer.
Tawny made his debut in the FIS SDH Speed Ski class in Sun Peaks, where he won his first race in difficult conditions. He just missed out on the podium the second race, but it was enough to make him hooked on the sport.
For the 2018 season, Tawny is making a full commitment and joins the Speed 1 class in the FIS Speed Ski World Cup.
