Oliver Henzler

Oliver Henzler is a German speed skier in the S2 category.

Oliver was born in Herrenberg in Southern Germany, not far from Stuttgart. He started skiing when he was 3 years old.

Oliver made his debut in Grandvalira 2015 in the SDH class, using FIS approved downhill equipment. It was the only race he attended that season, but it was enough to make him committed to the sport. The next year Oliver was back in Grandvalira and his first race he took his first top-10 position.

In Vars 2016, at the Chabrieres track, he set his personal best speed so far; 180,99 km/h.

The 2017 season was good for Oliver and his results went from 7'th in the World Cup in Idre, to a 6'th in the World Championships in Idre. Then in Andorra he kept improving and took 2x 4'th places and his first podium with a 3'rd place.

For 2018 Oliver will be competing in the S2 class, which is replacing the SDH class.

Oliver lives in Schondorf. He is a road cyclist in the off season.
