Mattias Elofsson is a Swedish Speed Ski athlete in the S1 class.
Mattias is originally a free skier, having spent too many seasons in Chamonix to count. He likes the steep runs, and it's much easier to point out the few runs he didn't ski. However, being from the northern parts of Sweden, he will never tell anybody about it.
He started World Cup racing in the SDH class with standard FIS DH equipment in 2014. In 2015 Mattias switched to the S1 class. He set his personal best 195 km/h in 2016 at the WC races in Vars.
Matttias is chasing the 200 km/h for 2018.
In the summer he will be found on a mountainbike 9 times out of 10.
