Lars Beskow


Lars Beskow is a World Cup Speed Skier from Sweden in the S1 class.

Lars was born in Uppsala just north of the swedish capital Stockholm. In his younger years he was an alpine racer, travelling all over Sweden.

In 2005 Lars first started speed skiing. He Made his World Cup debut in the S1 class in 2006 and raced until 2007. Injuries forced him to take a break from racing for a few years. In 2013 he made an SDH comeback in the Swedish National Speed Ski Cup. In 2015 he decided to return to World Cup racing in the SDH standard class. He was immediately very successful and has never been outside top 10 in SDH since then. In 2016 he finished 3'rd overall, and in 2017 he finished 2'nd place on the SDH World Cup.

For 2018 Lars is racing in the S1 class, returning to the aerodynamical equipment and 238 cm skis.

Lars other passion besides skiing is mountainbiking and always brings his bike to Idre Fjäll in the summer.
